My name is Beatriz Krähenbühl. I am Swiss-Brazilian. I was born in Brazil, but I have now lived longer in Switzerland than in my country of origin.

I began my career as a flight attendant, driven by a desire to explore the world. In 1996, love brought me to Switzerland after I met Frédéric, a Swiss-Brazilian, in Los Angeles. That encounter led me to the Alps—something I could never have imagined, especially for someone who had always dreamed of living by the sea.

Over the years, I have worked in a variety of fields, including hospitality, tourism, and early childhood education. I am a mother, biologist, educator, and passionate nature lover. Living in the Val de Bagnes, in the Verbier region, gave me the opportunity to discover the trails, stories, and hidden treasures of this remarkable landscape—one that I am now proud to call home.

Adventure has always been part of who I am. Snowboarding, trekking, ice skating, mountain biking, and so many other outdoor experiences have shaped my life. Over time, this love for nature became a way to share the Switzerland I know and live every day: a Switzerland that goes beyond beautiful landscapes, shaped by culture, encounters, traditions, and meaning.

My love for the mountains inspired me to become a certified Mountain Leader, graduating from Horizon Nature, a training school accredited by the UIMLA (Union of International Mountain Leader Associations). This qualification gave me the technical knowledge and professional skills to lead people safely, responsibly, and with deep respect for the mountains.

Since 2022, I have been working as an independent guide for Swiss and Brazilian travel agencies, as well as private clients, creating tailor-made experiences in the Verbier–Val de Bagnes region—my home in the Alps—and throughout Switzerland.

People who know me often describe me as cheerful, patient, creative, practical, flexible, and charismatic. I bring these qualities into every experience I design: guiding with kindness, attention to detail, and a genuine desire to reveal a more authentic, human, and meaningful side of Switzerland.
