+41 79 533 55 41My name is Beatriz, I'm a Swiss-Brazilian citizen. Although I was born in Brazil, I have lived longer in Switzerland than in my home country. I started my career as a flight attendant, trying to satisfy my desire to see the world. In 1996, I ended up in Switzerland thanks to Frederic, a Swiss-Brazilian guy I met in Los Angeles, California. The passion we felt for each other brought me to the Alps, even myself, who never imagined living far from the sea.
I worked in different areas, including hotels and tourism, and had the opportunity to learn the secrets of the Verbier, Val de Bagnes region. I'm also a mother, a biologist, a social educator and I have a graduate-level degree in team and project management and in administration of socio-educational institutions. I'm passionate about nature and practicing various sports, such as snowboarding, trekking, ice skating, mountain biking, among others.
As a born adventurer, I dedicate my time to guiding other hikers who want to venture into the Swiss countryside. All this love for the profession and for adventure led me to become a professional in Hiking and Trekking as a "mountain accompagnatrice" in French, or mountain leader, in English, through the Horizon Nature school and guide agency. Thus, I am acquiring the knowledge and tools to guarantee my clients' safety.
I have years of experience making personalized itineraries for family and friends. Since 2022, with the encouragement of friends, I have been offering services as an independent tour guide for Swiss and Brazilian agencies, as well as private individuals, offering unique trips in Verbier and other regions of Switzerland. People around me describe me as smiling, patient, creative, practical, flexible and charismatic.
